“It is the poets, artists, and musicians that will carry us through the pandemic attacks into a new reality. They are the ones who tell us how to navigate, breathe, feel, think, enjoy, and fully live our lives. (“Because the world had corona”)”

Access Abundance For All

The film, Access Abundance For All takes a structuralist approach in showing the huge contrast between our negative societal structures currently in place, and the much better alternative of a Resource Based Economy.

Although this film uncovers the horrors of our current society, it does however have a very positive message, and the many solutions it puts forward is evidence of that. One of the major solutions highlighted in the film is automation and its various positive uses. Open-source is another important aspect of the film. There’s even a sprinkle of comedy satire to cheer you up, after all, some of these issues are pretty disturbing.

A Resource Based Economy provides a societal structure whereby access abundance for all is free of charge, and as such, motivation for actions which result in negative outcomes (most often associated with greed) are non-existent. The main objective behind this re-design of human society via a Resource Based Economy is to achieve higher living standards than ever before for all the World’s people, way beyond what the wealthiest people experience currently in the Money Based Economy.

According to the projections put forward (with much of the credit going to Jacque Fresco for putting the blueprints in place) the RBE may not be too far away. As a Resource Based Economy only does things in an environmentally sustainable way, it may also prove to be our only chance of putting an end to environmental destruction.

"I think the subject which will be of most importance politically is mass psychology....Although this science will be diligently studied, it will be rigidly confined to the governing class. The populace will not be allowed to know how its convictions were generated."
-- Bertrand Russell in The Impact of Science on Society
“Beware the leader who bangs the drums of war in order to whip the citizenry into a patriotic fervor, for patriotism is indeed a double-edged sword. It both emboldens the blood, just as it narrows the mind. And when the drums of war have reached a fever pitch and the blood boils with hate and the mind has closed, the leader will have no need in seizing the rights of the citizenry. Rather, the citizenry, infused with fear and blinded by patriotism, will offer up all of their rights unto the leader and gladly so. How do I know? For this is what I have done. And I am Caesar.”
    – Julius Caesar
